I'm looking for a really good Horror game for the PS3?

Search foreign games. The Japanese have a huge market on horror games, and practically ALL horror movies that will truly put a fright into anyone, are made by Japanese producers.

I'm a huge fan of horror, as well. I just got done Bioshock, and I really enjoyed it as a horror fan. It's not horror per se, but it has some tense moments, and the story is interesting and different. It's a cheap $15 on Amazon right now, but it's a first-person shooter.

I'm playing Silent Hill: Downpour right now, and I'm really enjoying it. It's definitely in the horror category, and it's third-person. If you've ever played any of the Silent Hill games, then you know what I mean when I say the Silent Hill series is excellent. The Silent Hill HD Collection is finally out, so you could get that and play SH2 and SH3, which are both exceptional horror games.

I've always been a huge Resident Evil fan. Resident Evil 4 is an amazing horror-action title, and it's third-person. I believe it's $15 on PSN right now. You could also get Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for around $20 on Amazon. That's really fun, too.

Finally, you could try Half-Life 2 which has some creepy moments and a really cool story (it's a first-person shooter).

As for F.E.A.R., I've heard good things, but it's a first-person shooter too.

Silent Hill: Downpour

You have to try out Siren: Blood Curse. It's kind of old, but it's one of the PS3's best horror titles to date.

There was a demo on the Playstation store, so I would tell you to try it out, but I'm not sure if it's still there, as older demos tend to get deleted. However, this game is definitely scary, and twisted.

I personnaly like the game Dead Island its a light horror game but i find its makes you jump quite a bit and is a thrilling game anyways I think you should give it a try .Hope it helped :)
