Where to place medals?

I have many sporting medals, and I don't know where to keep them. The first option is near a window, and sunlight, and the other is in a darker area. 10pts to best awnser thanks

    Don't put them in the sunlight the ribbons will fade.

    You can put them in a shadow box frame and hang it on the wall.

    Well you dont wanna seem too showy. Try somewhere neutral. But be proud at the same time.
