Jesus Refuted even the Remotest Suggestion of his Divinity?
Consider the following incident mentioned in the Bible: "And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?’ And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ " [The Bible, Mathew 19:16-17]
Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God, or believe that Jesus (pbuh) would die for his sins. On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments. It is indeed striking to note the difference between the words of Jesus Christ (pbuh) and the Christian dogma of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (pbuh).

Regardless of what any council or man says about Jesus’ nature, the only reliable authority is God’s Word itself, of which Jesus said: “Your word is truth.” (John 17:17, NW) This Word of God reveals that Jesus is the Son of God, not Jehovah God himself. Concerning his relationship to his Father, Jesus explained: “The Father is greater than I am.”
Jesus condemned hypocrisy; yet what glaring hypocrisy he himself would be guilty of if he had been Almighty God garbed in flesh! Jesus was not God himself, because even in his prehuman existence he was a created spirit called “the Word.”
The Word was a mighty spirit creature and as such may properly be called “a god” but not “the God.” Hence an accurate translation of John 1:1 reads: “Originally the Word was, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god.”
This scripture does not say that the Word always existed. Only Jehovah God is “from everlasting to everlasting.” There was a time when the Word was created. Jesus gave true facts concerning himself at Revelation 3:14 where he said: “These are the things the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God.”
When God’s “firstborn” came to earth, the life force of the Word was transferred from heaven to the egg cell in the womb of Mary. This meant that the Word had to lay aside his spirit life.
This he did: “Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God’s form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God. No, but he emptied himself and took a slave’s form and came to be in the likeness of men.”
Since Jesus as the Word “emptied himself” of his heavenly glory, he was no mighty spirit in a baby’s fleshly clothing just pretending to be ignorant like a newborn infant.
If Jesus had been a God-Man, he could not have been really “lower than angels.” Nor is it reasonable to think that the great Sovereign of the universe, of whom it is written that “at no time has anyone beheld God,” would take up human form and be “lower than angels.”
The inevitable conclusion is that God’s Word does not teach that Jesus was a God-Man. It teaches that on earth he was a perfect man, a perfect human organism. Those who teach that he was a God-Man teach false religion.

You're right about that scripture. Christ denied any kind of divinity. And the Jews did not believe that Christ was Yahweh or they would never have treated him so badly. And his disciples did not believe he was the God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob or they would have treated him with more respect. It's funny how these dumb azz Christians can read the bible and really believe that the people who deny Christ and disrespect him think that he is God. If I thought some one was God I would give Him the utmost respect and fear Him to the point of unquestionable obedience. Why does Jesus' disciples ignore him when he says to stay awake while he prays? Not only do they ignore him but they go to sleep! Does that sound like people who think they're dealing with God? Not only are they disobedient but they're constantly doubting him and questioning him. It's obvious they were under the impression that he was a man.
Another thing these retarded azz Christians don't consider is that Jesus' disciples were born and raised according to the Laws of Moses, which teach that Yahweh ( The God of Israel ) is One in every sense of the word and that He is not a man. So when they met Christ they did not think he was Yahweh who gave Moses the Ten Commandments and The Law. They simply saw a man like themselves. And if Jesus ever told his disciples that he was in fact Yahweh they would have been shocked and it would have required a whole lot of explaining from Jesus as to exactly how he was their God. They would have been even more shocked had Jesus told them that there was also a third person called the Holy Spirit who is also Yahweh. They would have had a hard time accepting this because Moses and the Prophets did not teach, believe in,or worship a trinity. Since Jesus never says anything like this " The God of Israel is not One like Moses and the Prophets taught your forefathers but He is three in One in a new way that I was sent to reveal to this generation. I am your God " then where do the Christians get this from? And how come the trinity doctrine is never once brought up by the Sadducees and Pharisees as evidence that the Christians were blasphemers? Not once are the Christians accused of worshipping a new God by the Jews. And that is exactly how they would have viewed the trinity - the Jews would have seen this as blasphemy in the highest degree but not once do they even mention it. That's because Jesus and his disciples did not teach it or believe in it.
The God of the Old Testament is One and He is not the same as the Christian trinity. The Old Testament are the books that the Jews inherited from their ancestors (Moses and the Prophets) and they do not belong to the Christians;they belong to the Jews. The Christians need the Jewish books to support their outrageous and ridiculous beliefs. But the Jews do not need the Christian books to support any of their beliefs and in fact they reject all the Christian books. They even consider the trinity to be a satanic teaching created by the Devil himself. They are disgusted at how the Christians took their sacred books and perverted them with their absurd beliefs. There is not one single Jew who would tell you that their God is a trinity in the Old Testament and if you read it you will see that this is true. The Christians will insist that Yahweh revealed Himself as a trinity to Moses and other Prophets in the OT,but if this is true then how come they didn't believe in or worship a trinity after these revelations? They kept on believing that Yahweh is One like He ordered Moses to teach them. It's obvious that the Christians stole the Jewish faith and made a bunch of stuff up concerning Jesus. Jesus was a Jew and did not believe in or worship a trinity and neither did any of his disciples.

1) Jesus Refuted even the Remotest Suggestion of his Divinity?
If so, it is not recorded in the Bible.
2) Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should believe in him as Almighty God or worship him as God
It is more correct to say that is not recorded in the Bible.
3) Jesus (pbuh) did not say that to have the eternal life of paradise, man should...believe that Jesus (pbuh) would die for his sins
That is not correct. Jesus commanded that to gain eternal life his followers must believe him - and one of the things that Jesus taught was that he would die for men's sins. So, you have to believe that as well as Jesus' other teachings in order to be saved.
4) On the contrary he said that the path to salvation was through keeping the commandments
Let's look at the remainder of the passage, shall we? You know: the portion that you intentionally left out so that you could make that claim without seeming to directly contradict what Jesus taught?
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=mat%20...
The man to whom Jesus was speaking was Jewish (not Christian), and that man asked Jesus "What else do I lack" and Jesus told him: YOU MUST FOLLOW ME.
5) It is indeed striking to note the difference between the words of Jesus Christ (pbuh) and the Christian dogma of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus (pbuh).
No Christian is going to believe your bogus claim. Why do you bother trying? Why don't YOU follow what Jesus taught, rather than taking **one partial teaching of Jesus** and using it to claim that we Christians do not follow Jesus' teachings?
Why are you attempting to persuade Christians to convert to Judaism?
Isn't it as obvious to you as it is to us how deceptive that is? Does your deity approve of such deception, poorly-disguised as it is? Is this right and honest, to misrepresent what the Bible teaches in an effort to persuade Christians to become Jewish?

i am amused that a heathen quotes scripture ... pretending to be able to understand it.
scripture is a book written by MANY prophets down the ages unlike the koran, a one -man show.
also, you cannot take one verse and use that as a doctrinal argument.
other parts of scripture MUST confirm the same.
just as you cannot take one man's word against another ...
the way muslims hang on to every word of one man, mohd , and believe in the counterfeit koran.
what makes you, a heathen, think that you can understand the mysteries of God when you worship an idol ?
Matthew 13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but TO THEM IT IS NOT GIVEN.
do you think Jesus lied when He said the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven is not given to heathens ...
ONLY christians are given to understand scripture ... get this clear.
christians are God's children ... get this clear.
christians are not a group of people anyone in his right mind would dare to come against ... get this clear. God will come after you ... if you dare offend His children.
the whole of christendom understand that Jesus Christ is God.
those who stand against this, are christian cults eg. JW, sda, etc
if you desire to understand the mysteries of God, you MUST be taught by christendom, not by some christian cult, period.
so please stop posting such arguments that Jesus Christ is not God.

Yeah, right. That's why the Jews were always trying to stone Him. Read John 6. Read about His crucifixion trail. There was no mistake to the Jews that Jesus was claiming to be God. The mistake comes from those who only read one verse of scripture with no understanding to the context. Who was the ONE that is good?
There is no "path to salvation". There is only "whosoever believes".
He said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you know Me, you will also know My Father. ... The one who has seen Me has seen the Father" (John 14:6-8).
He also said, "I tell you the truth, before Abraham was born, I am" (John 8:58). Here, Jesus claimed not only to have pre-existed Abraham but also that His pre-existence was eternal, as would have been the case had He said, "I was." More significantly, "I AM" was a name for God. He further identified himself as the God of the Old Testament, when proclaiming, "I am the light of the world" (Psalm 27:1 says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation") and "I am the good shepherd." (Psalm 23:1 says, "The Lord is my shepherd.") When responding to the high priest as to His deity, Jesus said, "I am and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven" (Mark 14:62).
Jesus claimed to have authority to forgive sins. He told the paralyzed man, "But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins." He said He was the judge of mankind (John 5:25-29).
Jesus claimed honor that is only due God (Isaiah 42:8), when He said, "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began" (John 17:1) and "Honor the Son, even as they honor the Father" (John 5:23). Jesus invited prayer in His name: "And I will do whatever you ask in my name" (John 14:13). He accepted worship (Matthew 8:2, 14:33, 15:25, 20:20, 28:17), though the Old Testament clearly forbids the worship of anyone but God (Exodus 20:1-4; Deuteronomy 5:6-9). Even the angels refused to be worshipped (Revelation 22:8, 9).
Jesus said He would give us things that only God can give. "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it" (John 5:21).
Jesus told us not just to follow His teaching but also to follow Him (Matthew 10:38).
His Apostles also claimed that He was God: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God" (John 1:1); Jesus was the "first and the last" (Revelation 1:17, 2:8, 22:13); and, "For unto us, a child is born ... and his name will be called 'Wonderful, counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" (Matthew 1:23).
Paul said He was God: "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." (1 Timothy 3:16)
God Himself called Jesus God: "But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom." (Hebrews 1:8)
