Christian says Jesus is God incarnate and others say He is the son of God?

Jesus is also quoted as saying: In John 17:3, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

And Jesus said to them, ‘A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.’ ”

“He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.” (Matthew 10:40)

"The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet." John 4:19

"Jesus said; 'Truly, truly, I say to you, a slave is not greater than his

master; neither one who is sent greater than the One who sent him.' " (John 13:16)

Paul writes: “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs which God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know...” (Acts 2:22)

But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.(Mark13:32)

is quoted in John 5:30, as saying: “I can of mine own self do nothing...”. and in Luke 11:20, as saying, “But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the Kingdom of God is come upon you.”

Jesus referred to as Servant of God

"Behold my servant whom I have chosen." (Matthew 12:18 In this passage God calls Jesus His servant)

The God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified his servant Jesus. (Acts 3:13)

For truly in this city there were gathered together against thy holy servant Jesus. . . (Acts 4:27)

Everyone, except for God, are God's servants. Jesus, too, is God's servant.

In Matthew 5:17-18, Jesus stated: “17 Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the [way of] the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfil them. 18For, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished

Jesus(Peace be upon him) was also reported in the Gospel according to Matthew 19:16-17, to have made obedience to the divine laws the key to paradise: “16 Now behold, one came and said to him,“Good teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” 17So he said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments. ”(Matthew 19:16-17)

However, Paul, who claimed to be a disciple of Jesus, systematically cancelled the laws. In his letter to the Romans, chapter 7:6, he stated, “But now we are discharged from the law, dead to that which held us captive, so that we serve not under the old written code but in the new life of the Spirit. ” (Romans 7:6)

Also in Matthew 5:19, Jesus Christ(Peace be upon him) was reported to have insisted on strict obedience to the commandments saying, “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19)

(Matthew15:9)(KJV) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

the message of Jesus(Peace be upon him) was that only God deserves to be worshipped and that the worship of anyone or anything besides God or along with God is false. Jesus not only called people to this message but he also practically demonstrated it for them by bowing down in prayer and worshipping God himself. In Mark 14:32, it states: “And they went to a place which was called Gethsemane; and he [Jesus] said to his disciples, ‘Sit here, while I pray.’ And in Luke 5:16, “But he withdrew to the wilderness and prayed.”

Jesus depends on God for Authority: God depends on no one

"The words that I say to you I do not speak of my own authority." (John 14:10 RSV)

"I do nothing of my own authority but speak thus as the Father has taught me." (John 8:28 RSV) God has full authority, and full knowledge. He cannot be taught, but He teaches.

"I can do nothing of my own authority" (John 5:30)

"I do as the Father has commanded me." (John 14:31 RSV)

Needless to say, God does not receive commands from anyone.

"Abba, Father, all things are possible to thee; remove this cup from me; yet not what I will, but what thou wilt." (Mark 14:36)

Jesus fell on his face and prayed to God, begging God to save him from crucifixion. This also shows that Jesus had a will different from God's will. The writers of Matthew, Mark, and Luke tell us that it was Jesus's wish to be saved from crucifixion, but it was God's will to let the crucifixion take place. "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46)

If Jesus was God Himself, does it mean that God was forsaken by God Himself and can that be God who felt hopeless and shouted to be rescued?

on the ark of the covenant that moses built. (not to be confused with the heavenly one..there are TWO aotc's, this one's the earthly one of moses) the lid over it is split. all down the crack found by a crosshole (in the bible, a quake made a crack by his cross when he died) & onto the mercy seat (gods earthly throne) is a lot of dried stuff.

some of it was taken out & tested in prestigeous labs the world over. it is human male. 2 millenia old. dried. has only 24 chromosomes instead of 46 (23 from a human mother. 1 unknown dna not found anywhere else).....its....still alive.

only a god can do that!

we recently called the WAR foundation (link above) & they are currently on site right now digging that aotc out..there is a prophecy in revelations that says this throne wil lbe seen in the skies in the end times & after that..we're finished....so it is happening soon.

The Son of God always existed as the second Person of the Trinity. In time, the Son of God lowered Himself (Phil. 2:6-8) by assuming human flesh in the form of Jesus. Thus the human nature of Jesus is inferior to His equally real Divine Nature (God).

Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."

Now let's take this step by step, question by answer. Was Thomas wrong? I mean, did he err in calling Jesus "God"? After all, a quick check of the Greek New Testament clearly shows that Thomas used a definite article (Greek - ho; English - "the") before the word for God. And whenever the definite article is used before the name of God, every Jehovah's Witness knows that it is Jehovah who is spoken of.

If Thomas was in error, then why did Jesus not correct him? Certainly Jesus had corrected others with wrong views of seemingly lesser consequence. But no correction or condemnation came from Jesus' lips in this instance.

Further, why did Jesus go right on to commend those of us who share Thomas' faith that Jesus is the God, even though we have never seen Him with our physical eyes? It certainly appears that we shall be commended only if we, like Thomas, consider Jesus Christ to be both Lord and Jehovah God!

Second, let's examine Acts 7:59, which depicts the first martyr, Stephen, praying to Jesus:

"And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."

Obviously - and it would be foolishness to take this any other way - Stephen (not the Council) was calling upon - praying to - the Lord Jesus. The Old Testament makes it very clear that to pray to any god, other than Jehovah, was to commit the sin of idolatry. Thus, if the Jehovah's Witnesses are correct, Stephen, the great preacher and staunch man of the faith must have been an idolater, for Stephen was only praying to an exalted spirit creature. But if Stephen was praying as he ought to pray, then Jesus is Jehovah. These are the only two logical choices. No other explanation is possible. Either Stephen died as a sinful idolater, or else he died in obedient faith. Which will it be?

God the Word became Flesh, the man, Jesus of Nazareth

God the Word existed from the beginning. He was Spirit. "John 4:24 God is a Spirit:..." God was made flesh and became the man, Jesus of Nazareth. "John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us." God became a man in order to be sacrificed as the Lamb of God for the forgiveness of the sins of his people. "1Pet 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:---" By his supreme sacrifice he became the author of our salvation and he pardons those who obey Him. "Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;.

He is fully divine and fully man. In other words, Jesus has two distinct natures: divine and human. Jesus is the Word who was God and was with God and was made flesh, (John 1:1,14). This means that in the single person of Jesus is both a human and divine nature, God and man. The divine nature was not changed when the Word became flesh (John 1:1,14). Instead, the Word was joined with humanity (Col. 2:9). Jesus' divine nature was not altered. Also, Jesus is not merely a man who "had God within Him" nor is he a man who "manifested the God principle." He is God in flesh, second person of the Trinity. "The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word," (Heb. 1:3). Jesus' two natures are not "mixed together," nor are they combined into a new God-man nature. They are separate yet act as a unit in the one person of Jesus.

    To answer your question...No.

One of the New Testament writers' claims was that Jesus is a descendant of King David, and so has the right to be a king as would have been expected of the awaited legendary Messiah, and worthy of the title "Son of God". "Son of God" is a title applied to the real king of Israel: 2 Samuel 7:14, "I will be his (David's) father, and he shall be my son".

The gospels portray Jesus in various ways: Compassionate (healing ministry - one of many "healers" at the time), angry and aggressive (calling Pharisees "Hypocrites" etc, attacking the tradesmen in the temple, and so on), and even initially uncompassionate (the Syro-Phoenician woman, for example, when he initially refused to exorcise her daughter as they were Gentiles - "dogs" - until she begged for the "scraps").

And in Matthew 10:34-38 and Luke 12:49-53, he states that his mission isn’t to bring peace but set the earth on fire and to set members of households and families against each other.

So if Jesus was a real person, he doesn't seem perfect, but complex like other men.

But I kind of think the Jesus of the gospels was probably a legend in who were assimilated proverbs and morals of a sect and tradition, and maybe attributes of several leaders of the sect.

Apparently God (infinite regression) is his own grandpa, father, and son plus the holy ghost.
