As president would you be willing to impose a 28th amendment that would make all law makers including yourself accountable for all laws imposed on the people including pension plans and health care,in other words the american people feel if its good enough for us it should be good enough for you.

Your question is meaningless, since there is NO WAY the President can "impose" an amendment. It is up to the Congress and the states to change the Constitution.
What has happened to civics education in this country?

Depends on the issue or needed law. It is very difficult to get state ratification so it certainly should be a relevant constitutional amendment that is a consensus.

Well imposing aside..............I feel it would be a valid constitutional amendment. These lifer politicians need to do this just to restore (a small measure of) public confidence in our elected scoundrels ooops my bad elected officials.
