How can I cut away this face from my photo?

I just can't figure out how to delete this from my photo

Of cause I realise that it can be done with photoshop. My question is how

    What do you mean by "this" face - that implies that we can see the photo and the face, but you didn't upload and link to a photo.

    I don't know the best method to suggest to you without seeing the photo and without knowing which imagine manipulation program you have (e.g. only Elements or PS CS5?). Both things make a BIG difference in the approach.
