I need informations about the Declaration of Independence of the USA?

Hi, I am a German student and I am supposed to give a speech about the declaration of Independence of the USA 1776 in three months. This speech should have a lenght of 10 Minutes. I have no idea, what I should write. How and where it has started, why it was necessary, what has changed after the declaration... etc.  Do you know any good web sites or youtube videos with tons of information for me?

The US was an English colony, but the colonists were getting very angry about English policies. In 1776 they stood up in the public square in Philadelphia (where I live) and read this document declaring that they considered themselves an independent country, and why.

Two museums likely to have a lot of information on the Declaration are the Constitution Center (here in Philadelphia) and the National Archives (in Washington, DC, where the Declaration is on display).
