How closely is the Child Support Disbursement Unit being monitored by the real black-glove initials?
That is not a subpoena by the way that is an order to make an agreement which I do not agree to. It is coercion and a crime. If the state is going to order us to pay then order us a job. Ever hear of a Court Ordered Job? It can be done for misdemeanors and felonies why not child support enforcement?
Boom, weed the sh*t from the manure and honor the court order, and solve the employment crisis. Instead of suspending DLs and locking up otherwise good dads why does the court not put the person to work for 40 hours a week WITH PAY!
Why has this not been brought to the floor or even considered, because some one is getting paid to be quiet that is why.
Because "democracy" fears "socialism", but lets not.
And to the guy who said its because the individual didnt honor the subpeona, do you really think that they would say, oh sorry we know the economy;s bad, and move on. They need the dough however possible. If the means arrest for non-payment do you really think the gov in the lexus cares who gets bent?
One other thing, how can we really be expected to sign a payment agreement with no way to pay? Then we violate another law, lying in/to court and/or officials.
Well since you put it like that, I do pay, and I do have my son nearly 50% of the time. I love my boy and his mother and I are on a friendly basis. Every time I pick him up or drop him off with her, we spend a considerable amount of time catching up and sharing things about him. I actually wrote a letter to this unreachable "office" today trying to arrange payment in increments as opposed to 2 700 dollars. His mom did not even choose to pursue enforcement the state picked it up when I applied for emergency funds because I was living in my van.
On the up note, his mom is now discontinuing welfare which will allow me to get out from under this. I also just got hooked up with some job at Wendy's and have scheduled automatic payments from my 10 hour a week paychecks at 7.75 or whatever.
My problem is not enforcing support from a deadbeat dad, but enforcing it on someone who does support the child at home and does pay them as much as he can. I dont even blame them for targe

Tough beans. You didn't wrap it up, now you got to pay for it. It's like... if you can't afford a new car, DON'T SIGN THE PAPERS. Make sense?
Also, realize the programs you suggest cost taxpayers money for start-up, and money for many years until the program becomes self-sustaining (if it EVER would.) I don't want to spend my money to help YOU get a job, SIMPLY because you knocked a girl up.
It's not that democracy fears socialism, democracy doesn't want to PAY for socialism. So go get a job and quit whining. YOU HAVE A BABY TO TAKE CARE OF.
Lastly, a court order means it doesn't matter if you agree with its' decision. I KNOW this sucks, but the only thing I can tell you is that complaining won't work. Life ain't fair, just remember that you started this, not a court and not any government.
