What does "Run this browser sandboxed" mean?
I am looking through my Avast A.V. setting and under browser settings it show me my two installed browsers, which are I.E.9 and Firefox. Under each browser it gives me the option to "Run this browser sandboxed" what does this mean and and what are pro's and con's? Thank for the Help.

Sandbox refers to the idea that a software package can be executed inside a protected, environment where it cannot hurt the rest of the computer, nor access files it should be not allowed to see. It is a security mode that has some drawbacks relative to usability, but also is pretty immune from viruses and worms.
For example, a sandbox web browser cannot access your contact list in case some bad java code tries to use a web page to spam all your friends.

I easily have theory what working a script I see a POP up tells me to proceed or supply up. I supply up it many of the circumstances yet is it significant so I dont omit downloads? What could I do ? merely wait?
