What would you do in this classic Bioethics situation?

Question

Two people are trapped in a burning building; one of them is a leading cancer researcher while the other is the charlady in his employ. There comes upon the scene a man who can rescue one, but not both, of these people and who therefore has to choose which of them it should be. This man happens to be the charlady's son. the question is, whom should he save?- and how do u figure?

Update:

Yes and maybe if I pray real hard God will come down on his Harley and save them both and treat you all to Ice cream sundaes. Barring that or some other miracale just pick one of the options purposed to you.

Sit tight in Yoga and Meditation. I will do honest and sincere prayers also with ardent devotion.

Prayer does lot of wonders in life like a miracle. I am told.

The woman furthest away, for the closest would be easier if the situation changes. Always hope for life!  Really the woman he recognized. We do love the things we know, better the things we don't... ignorance is bliss
