I don't get it. Here it is:
A man walks into a shop and asks for a potato clock. When the sales assistant says he doesn't know what he's talking about, the man replies:
'It's my boss. He keeps telling me I'm always late for work at 9 o'clock, but there wouldn't be a problem if I got a potato clock.'

Who ever told you that joke has a **** sense of humor, it doesn't make sense at all, it might be relating to some famous saying from the past or something I don't know
