Can you only get in trouble for underage drinking if you get caught?

Update:

Another question, if a friend told a cop that you were underage drinking could you get in trouble from that? Or no because they have no proof...

    depends on the state that u r in. some dont care if u have ur parents consent and some say under 21 and you are outa luck. read ur state laws

    If u live in italy u can start drinking at 16 but i'm older then that
