Who is the best between Dwight Howard and Lebron James?

LBJ is the better player. Dwight isn't exactly a great center. No doubt about it, hes a good center and the best one in the NBA but when you compare him to the other centers, they all suck except for Bynum, Noah, maybe Bogut. What I'm trying to say is Dwight has no challenge up in his position and getting rebounds for him is like grabbing a ball from a 10 year old. LeBron meanwhile is having one of the best seasons in NBA history according to some sources.

I agree with the masses in that you can't compare the two...James is a great forward and Howard is a great center. I look at it like this: When you're opposing the Heat or the Magic, do you have to change your game plan in light of a particular player? The answer is "yes" on both accounts. You can't expect any one player to match Howard or James offensively; you have to double-team them. I honestly think that Howard is more of a game-changer because of his presence under the basket.

Lebron has an incredible supporting cast and Howard has very little to work with. I think that if you put Howard on a team with Wade and Bosh, you'd completely open-up his game offensively. Not only would he likely score more, but he'd also likely add 3-5 assists per game just kicking the ball out to one of his other viable offensive weapons.

In all honesty, I'd rather build a team around a great center than a great forward, but James is undoubtedly one of the best players in the league. I think that if Miami had Howard instead of James, they'd easily win a championship. Why? Rebounds, blocks, inside presence and you still have two great players in Wade and Bosh who between the two of them can score from just about anywhere on the floor.

It is hard to compare the two, but I would consider LeBron the most talented player in the NBA. While Dwight can dominate a game, LeBron has more talent and still has the ability to take over a game with his size/strength.

Comparing a Center and a Forward can be tough because they both have different roles. But I would choose Lebron over Dwight because who would you want taking a Game Tieng/Winning 3, James or Howard?

Lebron is my fav player but i would have to say Dwight Howard he puts up great numbers not saying LBJ doesnt but howards more dominant as of lately
