Would anyone agree with me....about 'Sheila Nabb' Beating in Mexican Resort?

....But really, from the time Sheila Nabb and her husband got back home to Calgary from the Riu Resort in Mexico....I have been waiting for a press release or spokesperson appointed from the family of.....to help all of us with the lingering question of what really took place that night or early morning when she was 'so called' naked and got beat up in the elevator while her husband was asleep.....Damn it, I believe she or he owes us, (everyone concerned for her during that ordeal, because there were many people SERIOUSLY CONCERNED for her and maybe for themselves when they would travel)...but regardless, do we not deserve more than what we have come to know from the Mexican side of things.

Has someone paid the family to keep quiet ?

It is not even about the money, even though many people gave to help them out during that time !

But what really happened ?

    First: Google is your friend.

Some examples of what you'll find:

"Mexican man arrested in beating of Canadian woman"

"Mexican man admits beating Canadian tourist while intoxicated"

    "Sheila Nabb released from hospital"

Second: Don't you know how criminal trials work?

Victims aren't allow to comment on criminal matters pending trial.

A defence lawyer would argue that it prejudices the case against an accused, and a judge might agree and let an accused walk free instead of sentencing them.

The details will come out at the trial so you'll just have to be patient.

There's also the fact that people who suffer traumatic injuries often lose their short term memories of what happened.

So she might never recall the exact details to be able to issue a statement that satisfies your personal curiosity.

One thing's fairly certain: It's damned unlikely she was naked in an elevator when the guy got onto the elevator.

Not when there's people coming and going at all hours of the day and night and security cameras everywhere.

What seems likely is he assaulted her, and turned violent when she resisted.
