For a Ford Escape, what does it mean if it's XLT?

The Escape offers 5 model trims to meet each of our customers distinctive taste: XLS, XLT, LIMITED, and HYBRID. The XLT has all of the XLS standard equipment plus the Keyless Entry, Roof-Rack rails and some other great options at a starting price of $24,870.

The XLT is the mid-range trim option

XLS was usually the base model

XLT was usually the mid-range model

Limited was usually the high end model

Not all XLTs are V6's and not all XLT's are 4WD/AWD. The drivetrain in the Escape is not dependent on trim level. You could get a V6 4WD XLS or an I4 2WD Limited.

Edit: So uh, Noemi, what's the 5th trim level?

More luxury such as leather seats, All wheel drive and 6 cylinders.

it means it's the deluxe trim version. it's the highest guality package of that vehicle.
