Christians, have you ever been to church and everyone caught the holy ghost except you?

As an atheist, I go to church and see many people catching the so-called Holy Spirit, but I don't feel anything. The realist part of me understands that these individuals are enaging in mental self-pleasuring.

Absolutely. I wouldn't say everyone. We don't go to church to "catch" the holy ghost. I don't feel very spiritual when I got to church. I feel spiritual when I pray, meditate or read the Bible. Jesus is the Church, not a building.

Yes. I call it the holy ghost shouting contest. I used to rate them 1-20. 20 means EMS had to come. It's all about "can i out do him/her" I don't participate in any of that. i never see it at any other church other than baptist. no catholic has ever jumped up and starting hollering in the middle of the church.
