LGBT: Can you get an STD from a used sex toy?

I bought a mastorbator online and I got it and it looked as if it has been used before but I doubt it. If it was used could I have gotten an STD from it? Serious answers only please.

    Yes, you can. That is why you should only by them new and never share them.

    Yeah if it made contact with someone with an STD, the virus/bacteria could still be lingering on it.
