What was your favorite Final Fantasy game?

I liked them all to be honest. (except 11 & 14 as I'm not really into online RPGs. They're not bad just not my thing.)

Anyway, for me FF 8 was my favorite game as a whole. True ti did have many flaws but it also had a real charm to it that gave it character.

FF7 - was highly enjoyable and more fun to play. But, the overall story really was a little too bizzar at first and took a while to get. But from a game mechanics and gameplay perspective this was the best.

FF 9 - This was just a whole lot of fun. Easy going and nice break from the intensity of the last 2 FF games.

FF X & X-2: Were both very good. FF X was a tad too linear for the majority of the game, but makes up for it with some insanely challenging monster hunt challenges. FFX-2 was nice sequel that was fun to play. It wrapped up a few loose ends left in FF X.

FF 12: Was OK. Nice combat system with some really fun creature and boss battles. Main characters though were a little bland.

FF 13: I really liked it. It had it's weak points but overall very good.

Nuff said.

That's because it was the first final fantasy game I played, but also the story, the music, the art of telling it, its just wonderful and beautiful a game. I also like the GF system ( I forgot what you call it, it has been years maybe just under a decade since I played it ) Its the like the aeon thing in FFX. The romance between Squall & Rinoa *sighhhhh*... To the hyper goofy Zell, and the sweet innocent but dangerous Selphie and so on!

Damn I just love it to bits! I just want to play it again! I know I have the PS disk set somewhere here.. I heard they have it up on the PlayStation Store so I'm definitely going to download it if I can ever get on the PS3 since it belongs to my brother :/

FF9 had to be my most favourite. I loved the Classic feel the characters were mostly well developed and really loved it had the medieval look with modern twists. :)

FFXII was my favorite because of the hunts, free roam, and great battles. Best graphics on PS2, good soundtrack. All of them were good (haven't played XIII or XIII-2) but XII was my favorite.

Final Fantasy 3 on the SNES!!!!

I loved the one with the aeons in it and wakka I can't remember which one it was but it was great I loved it

I really enjoyed VII but VIII is my favourite!!!! The one with Wakka is FFX.

I loved FF12
