What do you expect form a nurse?

I expect a nurse to be knowledgeable and able to answer my questions in a manner in which I can understand. I expect a nurse to be caring and compassionate and, of course, polite. I always appreciate a nurse who is cheerful and friendly.

In am a nurse with a bachelors degree and I expect all nurses to be a patient advocate. Nurses are with the patient for 12 hours doctors see them for maybe 10 min

Nothing. They don't have much medical knowledge. They just run the hospital under the doctors. They are given orders and are assigned patients. They do all the hard work the doctors don't want to do.
