Mormonism: Black people are Cursed?

Mormons have 3 books of canonized scripture in addition to the bible. Two of the three are based on racism.

From the "Pearl of Great Price":

". . . there was a blackness came upon all the children of Canaan, that they were despised among all people . . . (Moses 7:8)."

"And . . . they were a mixture of all the seed of Adam save it was the seed of Cain, for the seed of Cain were black, and had not place among them (Moses 7:22)."

From the Book of Mormon:

2 Ne. 5: 21 --

... "And he had caused the cursing to come upon them, yea, even a sore cursing, because of their iniquity. For behold, they had hardened their hearts against him, that they had become like unto a flint; wherefore, as they were WHITE, and exceedingly FAIR and DELIGHTSOME, that they might not be enticing unto my people the Lord God did CAUSE A SKIN OF BLACKNESS to come upon them."

Why on earth haven't they edited this stuff out? It is just dumbfounding. Hello, it's 2012. They have the audacity to send missionaries to Africa to preach this.

Spencer W. Kimball, LDS apostle and prophet:

"I saw a striking contrast in the progress of the Indian people today .... The day of the Lamanites is nigh. For years they have been growing delightsome, and they are now becoming white and delightsome, as they were promised. In this picture of the twenty Lamanite missionaries, fifteen of the twenty were as light as Anglos, five were darker but equally delightsome. The children in the home placement program in Utah are often lighter than their brothers and sisters in the hogans on the reservation. At one meeting a father and mother and their sixteen-year-old daughter we represent, the little member girl—sixteen—sitting between the dark father and mother, and it was evident she was several shades lighter than her parents—on the same reservation, in the same hogan, subject to the same sun and wind and weather.... These young members of the Church are changing to whiteness and to delightsomeness. One white elder jokingly said that he and his companion were donating blood regularly to the hospital in the hope that the process might be accelerated."

God is no distinguisher of men.do you not remember what jesus said concerning divorcement that moses gave them that law for the hardness of their hearts. God gave us the ten commands moses gave the rest of the laws and Miriam his wife was black.song of Solomon was about a black beautiful woman.

In the early seventies Mitt Romney's uncle was in the room when god showed up and said they could let back people be priests, if they had some money too. Since then it has been okay, sort of....

Blessings and Curses was the law, Paul speaks to us concerning the 'fulfillment' of the curses...

Which people were given Cainaan by promise to overcome following times of the 7 tribes {remembering that there were a few Kings Abraham went to war concerning}?

The land was 'cursed', beast from the earth, this is written in Lamech...

Thus, does the curse speak to 1/3 of the celestial...?

This was also true early into the Jehovah's Witness movement. Blacks were not allowed to be JW's.

With Jesus and black magic on your side nothing can go wrong, if anything Mormons are the ones who are cursed!
