Fellow conservatives, your opinion on the Komen foundation ceasing contributions to Planned Parenthood.?

I am glad. I have given to Komen through entry into some of their Race for the Cure events. I had no idea that some of the money was going to Planned Parenthood. There are many other worthy groups that offer mammograms to those that can't afford to pay. I know of a few groups that do mobile mammogram clinic in poor areas. That would be a better use of those funds.

I never have understood why Planned Parenthood insists on mixing necessary care with something like abortions. Seems to be the opposite of what they should be doing. They should be saving lives only, not ending them as well.

It seems like a good way to prevent women from getting mammograms, so that's good, right?
