Filing Head of Household if I moved out in October?

Question

Long story short I have a child lived in our place until October 2011 moved in with my Mom in January for family reasons.. Does that disqualify me from HOH in 2011 even tho it was over half the year?

In your earlier question, you said you moved in with your family in August. Which is it?

And in any case, you must prove that you paid more than half of the TOTAL support for you AND your child for the ENTIRE YEAR. Not just "over half the year". Can you show that you paid that support?

Is it YOUR child?  Then you can file HoH and claim the child.
