Consequences? The "consequences" of not following a commandment (mitzvah) is a deep sense of disappointment at not being able to fulfill one of God's statements. Punishment in Judaism is nowhere near as harsh as the Christian eternal torment!

Nice try. If you knew anything about Judaism you would know that in order to save a life, *all* of the commandments except for three (murder, idolatry and sexual immorality) can be broken. So no problems with your situation.

Absolutely. Most Jews don't keep kosher. And even for those that do--Jews haven't survived 5000 years of persecution by being stupid.
