Does anyone else think they need a new shotgun like this besides me?

I had not seen this before, maybe it is old news for some of you more astute enthusiast. But it is pretty kool looking.

Update:

I think when they say "this is an absolute must have for a gun nut." Might apply to me.

I own several shotguns. I have a warm heart for old side by sides. Of course it could be I just have a few looses screws

So, from a competition (3 gun) standpoint, a reliable semi - auto shotgun which is magazine fed for fast reloads, handles and sights just like an AR-15 variant that the shooter is ALSO using in the competition is pretty attractive.

In fact, there are companies out there right now that specialize in doing extreme custom conversions of Saigas to handle like an AR - but those cost thousands of dollars for the conversion, over whatever you paid to get the Saiga in the first place.

So at $700 - $800 IF it is reliable and runs slugs well, there will definitely be a market for 3 gunners at a minimum.

As a general purpose shotgun? Well, it's certainly not your dad's shotgun so it isn't going to kill the market for the Mossberg 500s of the world. However, it will likely cut into the current Saiga market, and if it runs well enough - particularly in this economy - cut into the market for some of the higher end tactical shotguns. I mean if it runs well - do you really need a Benelli M2 or M4 or FN SLP?

Hard to tell. From my perspective though it's all to the good - the tactical shotgun market is definitely getting some options - Kel-Tecs new pump, this shotgun - I think there is some fun stuff coming.

Yeah, they are pretty cool, but I wouldn't buy one. Everyone has AR's and guns that are styled like ARs nowadays...I don't really see what's so attractive about them. I'd rather get something that stands out. Something that everyone doesn't have.

    No.

Where do people get the idea that all firearms need to look like or borrow parts from the AR-15 family? The fact that it gives you a woodie only serves to emphasize your lack of knowledge concerning firearms.

It is really cool not in my budget right now probably great gun for military or law enforcement for home protection that are not really gun people they are familiar with operating controls without using a ar15 with the overpentraion

not interested, I'm into functionality and reliability, not looks. I'd rather my Rossi single shot over that.
