is the quran a copy of the Bible?
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Ever Merciful
Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much discrepancy. [Qur'an 4:82]
"Truth has (now) arrived, and Falsehood perished: for Falsehood is (by its nature) bound to perish."
Some proofs that makes it impossible for the Qur’an to have been copied from the Bible.
1 - Who was created first, Adam or Satan? The Quran says Satan, the Bible doesn’t say anything.
2 - Who was created first, Adam or the Angles? The Quran says the Angels, the Bible doesn’t say anything.
3 - Why doesn’t the Bible mention that Noah had two wives, one was disobedient, and she died. And another which was saved.
4 - Why does the Bible say that Noah’s ark is in Ararat but it was discovered in Al-Judyy, as the Quran says so?
5 - Why does the Bible say that God afflicted women for Eve’s sin, and the Quran doesn’t tell us such thing.
6 - Where does the Bible tell us about the story of Aad and Thamood ? The town of Thamoud has been discovered in Saudi Arabia–it’s located in a place called Mada-in Saleh. And recently, the town of Aad has been discovered with the help of NASA’s satellites. Check the link : http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/ubar/
7 - Where does the Bible mention Prophet Saleh ?
8 - Where does the Bible mention Prophet Huud ?
9 - Where does the Bible mention Prophet Shu’ayb ?
10 - Where does the Bible refer to Al-Khidr ?
11 - Where does the Bible mention Luqmaan ?
12 - Why doesn’t the Bible mention the story of the Cow that happened between Moses and the Jews.
13 - Where do you find in the Quran any reference to Hosea, Malachi, Micha, Jude, Nahum, Nehemiah, Obadaiah, Esther, Joel, Ruth, etc ?
14 - Why doesn’t the Bible mention the story of Thul-Qarnayn.
15 - Why doesn’t the Bible mention the story of the People of the Cave?.
16 - Why doesn’t the Bible mention the story of Antioch in Surat Yasin?.
17 - Why does the Bible say that Jesus was crucified, and the Quran says that he was saved?
18 - Why does the Bible say that Abraham sacrificed his only begotten son, Isaac, and forgets that he had another son called Ishamael, who is older than Isaac?.
19 - Regarding the dream Joseph had in Genesis 37, why is it fulfilled in the Quran and not fulfilled in the Bible? Could it be because that Joseph’s mother died before Joseph had his dream? Bad prophecy.
20 - Why is it that the Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit had sex with Mary, and the Quran tells us that the Angel who visited Mary told her that she will bear a son, and he is ONLY informing her of what God has decreed?
21 - Why is it that the Bible tells us that Moses was adopted by Pharaoh’s daughter, and the Quran tells us it was Pharaoh’s wife?.
22 – Why is it that the Quran tells us that Lut was a pious prophet, and the Bible tells us that he had sex with his daughters?
23 - Why is it that the Quran tells us in Sura 19 and 20 that Moses was a special chosen prophet who was raised under God’s supervision, and the Bible tells us that he died because he didn’t disobeyed God?
24 - Why is it that the Bible says that it is written with the false pen of the scribe in Jeremiah 8:8, and the Quran tells us that it has no discrepancies?
25 - Why is it that the Bible tells us that Pharaoh did not drown, and the Quran tells us that he drowned, but Allah left his body as a sign to mankind. When they dissected Pharaoh’s body, they found out that his body had too much salt inside it. You say the Quran is copied from the Bible? I say you are ignorant! Read the Quran 10:92.
26 – Why does the Bible tells us in Genesis that God had to take a walk to find Adam, and the Quran tells us that God’s knowledge doesn’t require that He walks?
27 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Jesus spoke in the cradle, but the Bible knows nothing about the childhood of Jesus?
28 - Why is it that the Quran tells us that Jesus made miracles by giving life to statues made from clay?
29 - The Quran tells us that Aaron is innocent; he did not make the golden calf, but a man called Al-Samirri (A person who organizes songs and joy) made it, while the Bible tells us that Aaron made the Golden calf.
30 - why is it that the Quranic Laws state that the thief’s hands should be chopped, and the laws of Moses say something else?

Heavens, NO! The Quran is the fragmentation of evil men's thoughts twisted around the basics of the Torah!
These other questions mean nothing to me as they are written from the standpoint of the Quran being the accurate account of God and history, which it clearly is NOT. The Bible is the infallible word of God Jehovah, and I stand on that word, and that word, alone!

These books did not just spring into existence exactly as they are today. A huge amount of things were written over several generations by different people in different places. The writings themselves came from other sources, some of which were spoken only. Different religions and denominations use those writings as a foundation for their own single books. There is Judaism and Christianity, and within each one different denominations. Judaism and Christianity accept that their holy books are compilations and they disagree about what writings should be in their books. Even some of the denominations cannot agree with each other about the contents. The Quran is different because it is claimed to be the spoken words of one person. However, those words themselves are of someone who was very familiar with the writings that were used as a foundation for present-day Judaism and Christianity. Even so, interpretations and nature of the words are not as they originally were. They were originally spoken, and remembered by people who recited them. At the same time as the Quran was progressing, so were the books of other religions. So nobody should be surprised that there are passages in common between the different holy books, and nobody should be surprised that there are differences. But the suggestion that one is derived from another is simplistic, because the root origins are many. And some of the facts about some of the books actually suggest that the connection is not one of copying. For example, two main characters in the New Testament are mentioned more times in the Quran: Mary, and Jesus. That's enough for me to disbelieve somebody who says that the Quran copies from the Bible. I'm not saying they are books that come originally from a God, or Gods. But if they were, surely we would expect a huge amount to appear in all those books. Shouldn't we be glad that there are some things that are common to them? There is something else going on here. It's divisive. We ought to always come down on the side of unity, never division.

They are both different because one is true and one is false.
The Bible does talk about angels and demons. We know they were created before man. Also, the Bible doesn't refer to many episodes of Jesus' childhood, because there is nothing we need to know. We know that he was busy growing in wisdom - We also know that at about age 30 Jesus' mother asked him to turn the water into wine. Even at that age Jesus said his time had not yet come, therefore we do not need to know the details that had nothing to do with Christ's ministry and were in fact before Jesus' time had come.
The Quran also calls Allah the Best of Deceivers - I would take a second look at believing a book that even claims it's author to be a liar. S. 3:54; cf. 8:30
Jeremiah 8:8 is talking about the false rules and regulations the scribes were introducing. These were present and well known even in Jesus' time but never included in God's Law. They are not found in the Torah. False prophets also existed in the past, yet God's word remained in tact. None of these falsehoods even though produced were ever included in the Torah. God's Word has remained in tact, and uncorrupted - as one would expect from a Holy God.

No...
The Torah & the Prophets were written before Christ.... And the New Testament were written before the Koran... And these books were written by holy men moved by the LORD.
And the Koran was written afterward and is from the Angel Halal who appeared to Mohammad.
And Mohammad was unlearned in writing, so told his scribes what the Angel told him to write.
1. In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. GOD first created the winged Cherubim. And I believe this creation is described in Proverbs 8 [though most others disagree with me on that]. I believe satan is the first created/birthed Cherub. According to the Prophets before Christ.
So man was created after GOD had created all things in heaven and earth. And the last of GODS creation on the 6th day. The 7th Day GOD rested. Man rested IN GOD.
2. The Angels are the winged Cherubim,,, GOD created them first.
The Bible does too say this. And the Lord gave me understanding in this because I prayed and asked Him, amen.
3. Noah had one wife with him on the ark according to biblical scripture. There could have been another wife... And that would be true, if he had another wife, she would have drowned in the flood. Because she always resisted the Holy Spirit of the LORD like most did before the flood.
4. Genesis8:4~And the ark rested in the 7th month , on the 17th day of thee month, upon the mountains of Ararat. So? I believe Moses got it right when He penned this verse.
And I haven't heard that it was found in Mt. Al-Judyy... Cool... But then maybe this means there was more than one ark ?
10 - Where does the Bible refer to Al-Khidr? El-Gibbor/Mighty God? Isaiah9:6~For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government/misra will be on His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful/pallee, Counselor, the Mighty God [El Gibbor], the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace/Shalom.

1) Bible explains that GOD created everything in all the seven shama'yim (heavens) and between. Obviously ha-Satan was created by GOD. Even the Book of Isaiah and Job gives references. Too many to list, just read it.
2) Bible says that Angels were created on second 'youm' (day, epoch, era): Psalm 104. If you know the sequence of creation in the Torah, it gives you which day.
3) The scribes of that time felt that it wasn't important...point wasn't to be written to give a story, it was a record of events of the prophets and their lessons that was to be taught.
4) There are two separated and conflicting strands in the Torah that gives different aspects of the story. There are four separate strands that do not coincide: one strand says that Noah was instructed to bring aboard animals "by two", another strand (another chapter) says "by seven"
5) Rabbi and Jewish scholars are for certain that it was misunderstood inscription by the redactors during the babylonian exile: EXAMPLE: "The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him."(Ezekiel 18:20)
That seems to contradict the statements made in the book of B'resheith (Genesis).
6) The Bible is a compilation of books, parchments, and scrolls. What the Bible is today is only a fragment of records: mostly about B'nei Ysra'el (Children of Israel).
7) There are possible indications that it refers to Shelah, who is mentioned in ancestral line of Prophet Abraham. It was customarily of the early scribes of Israel to only name to important people and leave out the less-important.
8) Bible does indeed mention Prophet Hud...we know him in the Bible has Eber...who was the Prophet during the time of Nimrud and the Tower of Babel. That is where we get the name "Hebrew". That is why there are indications and possibilities that the Paleo-Hebrew language stayed intact whereas the other people's tongues [languages] were changed. Arabic, Aramaic, and modern Hebrew are the forms we have today, preserved through Abraham.

1. I am reading from the Book of Job in the Holy Bible. Job 38:1-13 KJV
"Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said. Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge? Gird up you loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou Me. Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if thou hast understanding. Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? Or who hath stretched he line upon it? Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner stone thereof; When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy? ANGELS IN THE BIBLE BEFORE CREATION Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb? When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it, And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors, And said, Hitherto shalt thou come, but no further: and here shall thy proud waves be stayed? Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days, and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?"
Angels are mentioned in the Bible. Job 16 was just recently discovered by scientists - "Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? Or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?" There is fresh water in the salt water in the ocean depths.
Here is a very interesting question God asks Job. "Where is the way where light dwelleth? And as for darkness, where is the place thereof?"
God only put in the Holy Bible the necessary knowledge for believing in Christ Jesus. And the prophets of God who wrote Scripture by revelation from the Holy Spirit, THESE PROPHETS HAVE NEVER, NEVER BEEN WRONG.
I have a question for you. Why does the Quran not say that Immanuel meaning "God with us" came down and walked the earth among His creation? Jesus said "If you've seen Me, you've seen the Father God." Jesus said, 'I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE and no man comes to the Father God except by Me." Scripture tells us that angels manifest into humans and walked the earth. The Lord walked with Abraham and talked to Abraham on this earth. Why is it so difficult for Islam, Mormons, Jehovah Witness and all false religions to believe that God would not come down and walk the earth as a man also? Do you not know that God wants us to know Him and to love Him?

The Bible is nowhere near the Qur'an. The Qur'an is the word of God and the Bible is a compilation of writings from historical characters which contain within it the word of God.

No. Although the Bible was written centuries before Muhammad came on the scene, the Quran bears no resemblance to the Bible. The Quran would have us believe that Jesus was not put to death, was not resurrected and is coming back as a follower of Muhammad. Try finding any of that in the Bible.
The Jesus of the Bible bears no resemblance to the Jesus of the Quran.

Seriously? One question at a time, QUESTOR!
First question,. No. The Quran is supposedly the recitation of what the Angel Jibriel said to Muhammad. The Holy Bible is a collection of over 66 books by 44 authors spanning 15 centuries.

The Bible is not the word of God because it was changed and edited by men throughout centuries.
The Quran is the true and complete word of God which is also His final.
