Yes, you can use VGA or DVI. VGA is analog, DVI is digital, as is HDMI. VGA can't carry audio, so you'll need some speakers if you want to hear since you can't play it through the monitor is you have speakers built-in to it.

The resolution will be fine. Granted, HDMI may look a little better than DVI or VGA, but honestly I hooked my 360 to my 1080p monitor with a VGA cable and it looks just as good as my PS3 that's hooked up with an HDMI cable (resolution wise, I don't want to compare graphics between the PS3 and XBOX 360 or anything, lol).

basically get a pictures card which will reveal the decision of the reveal screen that you're identifying to purchase. if you're getting a 16:9 reveal screen that runs 1600x900, basically remember to pictures card is able to showing that decision. It relies upon on your reveal screen so a lengthy way because the cables. If the reveal screen helps analog and dvi connections, then you somewhat are ok. If the reveal screen is dvi in undemanding words and your card is analog in undemanding words, then you somewhat will want an adapter.

Yes, as long as it has DVI.

VGA will upscale, but it won't really be that good of HD.
