I am referring to the conversation between Capt. Francesco Schettino, commander of the grounded Costa Concordia, and Capt. Gregorio De Falco of the Italian coast guard in Livorno: 

In the recording you can hear the coast guard saying: "Va a bordo cazzo!" but when people refer to this sentence they quote it "Vada a bordo, cazzo!"
What is the difference?

Get on board, damn.
1) the way you adress friends (like TÚ in Spanisch)
2) the way you address people with respect (like in Spanish USTED), formal, unnkown people, people of higher status, older than you, business ppl

although in Southern Europe they tend to speak with tú to unknown people of about the same age, and of course among the young
