What do migraines feel like?
I've been getting pain in one side of my head nearly on a daily basis now. sometimes I get a sharp pain but it only lasts a few seconds, other times it's throbbing and then my head just feels weird after but its not exactly pain or anything! Is it a migraine? I rarely ever got headaches let alone migraines before so I'm unsure!

Just before mine starts I get a metallic taste in my mouth. I then get visual disturbance, like flashing stars in my eyes. The pain usually starts as throbbing over one eye and if I move my head it feels like a sharp stabbing pain. As the pain spreads over my whole head I start vomiting and become sensitive to light. You really need to see a doctor to find out if it is migraine and what your trigger is. I can't eat cheese, chocolate, oranges & red wine. Strong perfume can also bring on an attack.
