Do liberals know the difference between legal persons and natural persons under the law?

Sure, I know the difference. I imagine that for other liberals, some do and some don't. Same with conservatives and libertarians. I had to explain the difference to my "libertarian" husband a few years ago. I put libertarian in quotes because although he says that he's libertarian, he works for the government. He says that his job needs to be done by the government, though (insert rolleyes here).

The real debate about free speech and campaign financing is complex and nuanced, but Liberals do their best to avoid any substantive analysis, and prefer to miscast the issue in a cartoon-like way that allows them to mock any opposition.
