Why do liberals not understand that conservatives help the poor and the sick?

Rich people like to help poor people with charity because they can control how much money goes out. If the government did it by improving schools with their taxes, they would lose control.

If the so-called 'compassionate conservatives' were really interested in an end to the need for having to be compassionate to begin with, why do they cry foul over their taxes and point at regulations as blocking job creation when the simple truth is they're paying less in taxes than ever, are able to take those 'generous donations' as tax write downs, and vote for people who have no interest at all in growing a strong middle class all Americans can take pride in?

Name calling won't change a thing. The truth is no one wants to have to hand out money to the needy. But when people like Mitt Romney destroy companies and throw American workers out on the street without retirement benefits, you're going to have to keep on giving. One way or another.

Democrats talk about the poor then drive on bye or buy a ribbon.

Because they actually believe ALL rich people are evil and greedy. Nevermind the childrens' hospitals and shelters they create to feed and clothe the poor. Many go on to find gainful employment

They're haughtily self-righteous and think the fact that they claim this area as their own, makes it so. Much like everything they believe.

They know it. They're merely too dishonest to admit it.
