President with that 8 month old who put his fingers in his mouth. But I didn't see anything like it. Are the right wing pundits falling down on the job?

One can but hope - since it seems most of their readership will swallow anything.
I heard this story about the first Clinton campaign. As a Democrat, Clinton was constantly under attack from the right, although the dominance of the screaming right-wing was nothing like as vicious as it seems to be these days. But the beginnings were in evidence... the story goes:
Bill Clinton goes out for a short break in a rowboat with his staff. A group of journalists is in another boat, following closely. Suddenly there's a cry for help - a swimmer is in trouble. Clinton stands up, gets out of the boat, walks on top of the water to the swimmer and hauls him to safety.
The next day most of the press reports: Clinton Rescues Drowning Man, Clinton Amazing Save, etc., etc.... but the right-wing newspaper's headline reads: Clinton Can't Swim.
Quelle(n): I expect most yahoo users won't be able to think of anything much in connection with Clinton these days except for the media frenzy over his entanglement with an intern. But I thought I'd tell the story anyway because it's funny and goes to show ;)
