I can't connect to wireless network?

So I have been connect to my wireless router before. But my mom wanted me to get her ipod connected. The password we had wasn't working (I think I was typing it wrong). So i went on my laptop to change the password, because I've been wanting to do that anyways. Once i changed the password it wont let my laptop connect. I can see the network but it wont let me connect and it doesn't give me an option to put in the new password, when i run a diagnosis it can't find anything. And it wont let the ipod connect with the new password either, even tho i'm putting it in right

Please help.

    I guess you'll have to reset your Router if you can't connect to it anyway.

    If you are using WPA or WPA2, use the PSK type. Also make shure the router isn't hiding its SID.

    Also the reason why your laptop won't give you an option to type in a password is because it tries to use the old one. You first need to delete the wireless network profile cause the password is stored in it. If you delete it your laptop will think it's the first time connection to the network and will ask for a password again.
