Republicans: If you were the President of the USA, what would you do for America to make it a better place?

i was a democrat for years, but now i am republican as i live in illinois, the obama home state. i realized the last thing on their minds was the middle class, who was always the recipient of their pay to play policies on the paying side, big democratic state, land of corruption, supports crony capitalism, run by the unions, bankrupt, raised taxes and now has the largest number of companies leaving the state due to taxes. large companies staying are getting paid millions (guess who will pay for this). follows the obama economic policies of spend, spend, spend, tax, tax, tax. they even pass bills in this state to allow double dipping in pensions - when it was reported in the news - changed the bill but only for the future, no impact on current recipients. i do not like the obama socialist agenda. i can manage to make my own decisions and live with them. i do not need the government telling me what kind of light bulbs i have to buy. i can manage my own health care and not have to sit and wait for some idiot in washington to say yes or no to any treatment i may receive, assuming i am still alive by the time they get to it.

#1 - lower taxes to encourage job growth.

#2 - get rid of the obama care kill jobs bill

#3 - stop regulating companies out of business.

#4 - manage revenue and stop wasting tax dollars on stupid items - harry reid cowboy poetry festival, npr and planned parenthood (i am against my tax dollars paying for abortions).

#5 - fix the tax code to be fair to everyone and not focus on taxing someone who has done well, with their own money. everyone has the same opportunity to succeed.

#6 - get rid of the fraud in medicare, and let the states manage the money. there will be more responsibility if they have to manage it.

#7 - stop congress from passing bills like the insider trading scam and make them accountable, like every citizen. they are not special.

#8 - close the border once and for all and get an immigration plan we can all live with for the illegals. no one should be rewarded with citizenship for breaking a federal law.

If I was President, I'd cut the wages in congress and make congress a part time job again. I'd get rid of the department of education, the department of homeland security, and all other parasitic, bureaucratic government departments that leech off funding. I'd get rid of TSA and allow airlines the opportunity to hire their own security.

I would cut off foreign aid to countries that don't offer the U.S. goods and services and buys our goods and services as well. I'd give corporations who stay in the U.S. and hire American workers tax exemption and allow incentives to companies who hire full-time workers and keep their executive payroll within reasonable figures.

Why am I a Republican? Because Republicans are more trusted when it comes to the economy. Right now, the economy isn't doing so great, so the inevitability of a Republican retaking office is good. With that said, I want to have a say in which candidate is nominated to represent the Republican party.

Give everything but National Defense, Interstate commerce, and what's left of the post office back to the States where it belongs. Cut the nuts off the folks in Washington.

Tripp Smith has the answer. I would stop welfare except for people who are unable or to old to work. If you are able to work you would be cleaning parks or highways for your check. I bet they could find a job then. I would make it illegal for politicians to profit on legislation they voted on. Boy would that make things better for all of us. Congress and house members would get the same retirement they vote for the average citizen. I would go on but you get the idea

Cut as much taxes as possible, by vetoing any bills that will increase taxes. This will encourage growth and investment. I'm not talking about tax cuts just for corporations and rich people, I mean all citizens who earn income.

The President can not make America a better place.

The people make the place, not the government.

Government ruins everything. They ruined our monetary system. They ruined education. They ruined health care. What more would you like them to ruin?

Make America a better place.

Atheist.

Cashless society.

Most crime continues because the trail is eliminating by having coin and paper. A safer society where we can actually put the guilty behind bars.

Get rid of the DemoKKKrats once and for all.

Why am I a Republican?

Carter (bad), Reagan (good), Clinton (really bad), Bush (not very good, but not bad), Obama (REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY BAD)

The only thing they could do that would help would be to convert to the Democratic Party.
