What hardware do I need?

I want to use Sony Vegas Pro. What are the minimum requirements for processor ( intel ),  video card( Nvidia or ATI or AMD ) ,and RAM, or what else do I need ? For laptop, I mean.

Well, almost any PC will run it. But to render in decent times the minimum I would use is a dual core Intel or AMD at 2.5GHz, 4GB RAM and a HD5450. Video editing is more CPU intensive than GPU, so you might as well spend more money on a better processor. Basically, the more expensive you go, the faster your videos will render.

System requirements are on that page. If you got your laptop after 2007, you should be good.
