point deductions aside i think khan lost too. but if you look at it in his point of view he landed Cleaner crisper shots. peterson should have got deductions also, he led with his head and he was pretty much forcing khan to push him away.

like i said i think peterson won by out working khan and i think khan should stop crying about the loss and just do the fight again.

but this could be the best thing to happen to both fighters because no one really cared to see the first match up but now people want to see a re match. both fighters are probably looking at high 6 figure deals for the re-match if not 7 figures

The fight was very close, either way. Both fighters are excellent and it was not an easy victory for Khan as some analysts projected. I don't think the pushing should have warranted the point deductions - I'm not saying the referee was doing anything intentional, but it's sad when a fight's outcome is determined by something like that - it makes the results unclear.

So a rematch is certainly imperative. I'd like to see these two fighters go tow-to-tow without the controversy.

Umm no. When they boxed, Khan dominated him every time in the middle of the ring. Watch the fight properly. Every time Peterson came in, when he tried to make it a brawl, that was when Peterson was winning. Khan did run away, but that's his fighting style. Mayweather moves away a lot, does that mean he should lose every fight he's ever been in?

I rooted for Khan in that fight, (british) however i think he lost a narrow fight even without the point deductions, its simular to the calzaghe hopkins fight, khan and hopkins landed the fewer better shots, and scored knockdowns early, but as the fight wore on booth were negative in the fight where as peterson and calzaghe pushed the pace, landing more volume,

In khans case he was actually running at one point, which doent look good, i know about fighting on the back foot, but that wasnt it.he was also wobbled in several rounds.

Peterson was using his head, but not that much, he wasnt trying to foul and khan was being very obvious about the pushing, saying that lots of other fighters have done the same, george foreman sprins to mind.

He keeps referencing himself to manny, i think that is a mistake, manny is one of the best fighters of all time and in those situations stands in the pucket and fires back, not run.

peterson would not be able to run at manny like that, it would be another hatton fight.same with mayweather.

Khan cant cope with pressure fighters, he cant fight in the pocket and he has a very poor defense, he also doent pick his shots and load them up with power, he fires pitter patter punches from the outside then moves and fires again..one dimentional.

Khan is a world class fighter in my oppinion,on the same level as another very good fighter tim bradely, but sorry mayweather and pacman are several levels above, khan.

I had Khan winning by a very narrow margin. But I see why people think Peterson won. I respect their opinion.
