How I come cheap from Heathrow Airport to Greenwich North?

I am planning to go to London with my family in march next year. We are 2 adults and two children (17 and 12)

My air plane will land at the airport of Heathrow.

And my hotel will be the "Holiday Express Greenwich". It is next to the underǵround/tube station " North Greenwich".

The travel agency told me that I can buy tickets for the tube(zone 1,2) at them already.

So now I know already that I could take the Heathrow Express to there.

But I also read that I can take the tube from the airport to the station North Greenwich.

so Now I would like to know how I can get cheap from the airport to North Greenwich with the underground. The tickets for the zone 1 and 2 I will buy at them already,

But I read that I still need the zones 3,4,5 and 6.

    Train/Tube:

    Heathrow Express to Paddington - 3 adults, 1 child — £63.50

Heathrow Connect to Paddington (5 minutes longer) -- £29.75

    http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ ..

Travel by tube from Paddington to Baker Street and from Baker Street to North Greenwich is covered by your zone 1-2 travel card.

    Tube:

Picadilly Line to Green Park (46 minutes)

Jubilee Line to North Greenwich (18 minutes)

There is no difference for cash fare for zone 1-6 or zone 3-6:

    Adult (16 and +) — £5.30

    Child (5-15) — £2.60

    total fare — £18.50

If you take the Underground to Central London and Change onto the Jubilee line at Green Park you will only need one ticket for each person. If you take the Heathrow Express it will cost more but you will still need to take the Underground from Paddington to North Greenwich changing at Waterloo.

If you take the Heathrow Express you will need four tickets (three adults and one child, 17 is classed as an adult for train fares). which will cost you a minimum of £57.70 as long as you book online before traveling, you will also need to pick up your tickets before boarding otherwise you will pay £80.50 onboard the train. Four underground tickets on the other hand will cost you a maximum of £18.50 (as as you can purchase a child ticket for your 12 year old) even if you can't it will still cost a maximum of £21.20 for four adult tickets zones-1-6. Whilst in London you shouldn't need anything more than a zone 1-2 travelcard each day unless you venture out of central London

You do not need to worry about the zones. When you arrive go to the Underground ticket office and buy a ticket and say you want to go to North Greenwich and you will be sold one ticket that takes you all the way. You do not need a new ticket for each zone. One ticket will take you from zone 6 to zone 1.
