Need help with Sims Medieval Quest on iPod Touch?

I need to finish a quest and in order to do that I need to donate $1000 (sims money) to the church. I have over 1000 but there's no way I can find to donate it to the priest guy. Any ideas?

    You donate it in the church, not to the pastor. You donate into the golden bowl on a golden stand.
