Why won't RON PAUL win the Republican nomination?

Who says he won't. The media is all gun ho over Romney, but there is 3/4 of the vote he hasn't got which includes a lot of anti-Romney people like me. I live in Ma. and I'm saying his state run health care is not working. I expect that if it continues to bankrupt our state health care will be rationed for sure. The last debate on security was great where all of the Republicans did extremely well. Any one of them could beat Obama in a non-teleprompter debate.

I liked paul answer on the government spending when he said that government is not cutting anything while at the same time brought up base line budgeting. No other candidate has brought that up. 2 Thumbs up to Ron for mentioning that. I hope it becomes part of the republican debates to come when the talk about government spending.

What you are perceiving as "Grass Roots support" mostly consists of young college aged Pot smokers who are latching onto the fact that Ron Paul is for legalizing Marijuana. They know very little else about him, his ideology or the issues. They tend to be social network savvy and tend to skew many unscientific polls. But their numbers remain consistent, not increasing. Ron Paul runs for President every time. It is kind of an ego thing on his part now, I suspect.

Paul is a lunatic. His statements about it being OK for Iran to get nukes is dangerous.

He wasn't supportive enough of the Republicans' Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

And Republicans don't soon forget disloyalty like that.

The Powers-that-be will not allow someone they can not control to be a nominee for either of the two main parties. they can not control Ron Paul.
