Why I am getting such notice?

There are many glitches happening on the site now and that is one of them, avatars come and go or can't be used / added, names revert to a ? voting doesn't register, editing is messed up, starred questions not showing on users list, can't post links, error 999, this page cannot be found and a few more. You can try using the F5 refresh key that usually works.

There is a thread on the board about the glitches but because it started on the weekend it is not likely they will be fixed soon. We can only hope if they fix these ones they don't cause bigger ones.

These frequently recurring glitches are never fixed for long and keep recurring no matter how often they are temporarily fixed.

If you refresh the page or go back a page and try again once more or several more times sometimes or often it works.

The system is grossly overloaded and seems to be unable to cope.
