Which portable media player has the longest battery life? Which one would you recommend and why?
I bought a Polaroid 4gb MP3 player with 7" screen. The fully charged battery lasted less than 2 hours, not enough to play a 2h television movie. I returned it to the store. I am in the market for a new one. What would you recommend? I do mostly videos.

iPod Touch hands down. Theres no point in even looking at other media players on the market at the moment. It has up to 40 hours music playback and up to 7 hours for video, thats more than 3x the one you bought, and I'd say you could watch about 3-4 average-length movies in that time. Plus it has a gorgeous HD screen which is awesome for watching videos on.
If you want something bigger go for the iPad, that has up to 10 hours for watching video and a 9.7" display.
