How much should it cost to get the rotors turned on a 2002 Dodge 1500?
Trying not to get cheated. Any help would be great. thanks

Your rotors are in the ballpark of 45 bucks each for the fronts, and 35 bucks each on the rear, depending on where you are. That's for the house brand. My store (O'Reilly Auto Parts) turns them for 13 bucks a piece, but that also varies by location. Also, they must be measured to make certain that they are still within specifications.

In most cases it costs almost as much to get the rotors turned as it does to buy new ones. And they can only be turned to a certain thickness, below that thickness, they must be replaced.

Trying not to get cheated? Then ask at different shops. Do the comparison shopping yourself. What anyone here says is not going to help.

If you take them to an auto parts store they will turn them for $15 a piece.
