To the Americans: What are things you like and dislike about America?

I love the diversity of the people, and the security in the country, as well as the oppurtunities. Living in America feels like you have a guardian angel watching over you sometimes when it comes to relating with other countries.

However, there are some people that disrupt the feel. There are racist people out there who think of themselves as "more american" than others, and although america is diverse, sometimes it still feels like the country is a little less friendly to immigrants.

I like America, dislike the people in charge.

I don' t think that is answerable, as it's hard to say any one thing is good or bad about a place as large as the US... So, things that are good can also be bad. For instance: freedom of speech. (In principle, it's good, but some people REALLY take it to its limits.) Or reasonably low taxes. (It's good in some ways, but some people expect to get a whole bunch of services and not pay for them.)

Hate- Mississippi and Alabama. They just seem like backwards states.

Like- Freedom, Different cultures and food.

Like-The states and different places. Philly, Ny, Cali, B-more, Hawaii. I also like the shopping malls, the beautiful buildings, amusement parks, the buildings, basically the scenery, and the new technology iPods, iPads, Computers.

Dislike-White ppl, self-hating blacks, the system, morgages, racism.

dislike: Although the U.S is a country founded on immigration Americans tend to discriminate against immigrants and have the nerve to call others illegal.
