Can you please tell me how and why does vouchers/Coupons improve a business.

    Generally most people like to save money. So if they receive a coupon/voucher, they will go to that business to purchase what they are going for. While there, most often people will look around and find something else they want, or even do much of their shopping there so that they don't have to make an extra trip to somewhere else. They will still make a small profit on what the coupon was for, in addition to extra business in anything else purchased by the consumer.

    because it makes people go there. for example, if you had 10% of at asda you might go there instead of going to tesco or another supermarket. Asda will still make a profit of the items you buy and, as you would not have gone there without them, they have made money they would not have made without the coupons

    They give people a chance to try something that they might not ordinarily have tried. For example, let's say a food. If people get $1 off a bag of chips and try them and like them, they'll pay full price for them later on.
