Why would a person who hides their Q & A and accuses identifiable groups be surprised that he gets deleted?

Just about all the old regular contributors hide their Q&A lists from anyone not on their contact list.

And almost everybody criticizes other religious groups on here, atheists calling Christians gullible and stupid, Christians predicting Hell for atheists and members of non-Christian religions, or people picking out one religion that seems "off" to them, like Scientologists, JW's, or Mormons.

We don't go around hoping to delete other people's accounts.

Whether or not someone hides their Q&A should have no bearing on whether a post gets deleted, as it should ONLY be about the nature of the post in question.

Libelling may be a valid reason for reporting, but surely it's better to meet the accusation head-on and take it apart? Show it up for being libellous and the poster for being disingenuous.

Otherwise people are in danger of using censorship to just shut down debate, which is against the whole idea of free speech.

Moreover, if people are known to habitually use reporting to shut down debate, they will get a reputation of being report monkeys. Lots of normal people will avoid them and likely block them, which probably does much more harm to their cause because its adherents may be seen to be thin-skinned and intolerant of disagreement.

So I advise to only use reporting very sparingly, e.g. for beyond-the-pale abuse and commercial spam, and use argument to deal with claims you disagree with.

ROFL........ I hide my Q&A, from the *kiddies* in here.... But, by what you say, MOST of us in here would be GONE...... would hear nothing but the crickets chirping in the back ground....

Atheist accuse Christians, Christians accuse muslims, etc....... etc......muslims accuse everyone....

when in probability it is the *kiddies* doing it, just to watch the fire works......

it is one's only defense against such unscrupulous sorts, are you angry cuz it limits your possiblities of other actions against him? where is any Love when a certain groupe attacks viciously yet claims to be a Christian??? are you not guilty?
