Why do illegal Mexican males seem to target white females?

I live near San Antonio and have lived in the city before moving where I live now.

I think it could be some sort of status symbol. They'd like to have a shot at a hot, white chick, something they see as a cut above their own ethnic group. Also, there is a perception--deserved or not--that Latina women can get pretty dangerous when riled up, where white women--again a perception--are less likely to start slinging a knife around.

Maybe there is also a perception that white women have more money. Anyway, I am not Mexican nor am I married to one, but have a lot of friends who are Hispanic, or Mexican or Tex-Mex. Most of the ones I know well are either citizens or legal residents and most are in stable relationships, mostly with Mexican or Hispanic partners.

Interesting question.

Most of these men have a family waiting back in mexico and only want to have some fun. Some think Americans have a more casual approach to sex and that it's ok. This is my take on it. I am mexican from L.A., but very american (born here). I have heard that things are very different in San Antonio, such as the mexicans there don't call themselves mexican, but spanish and that there's a lot of racism toward those of more indian descent.

I don't know. I'm hispanic, but I never flirt with girls of any ethnicity. I prefer the girl to approach me, because I don't want to look like a creepy stalker. I think you should just report these guys to the police if they bother you and friends that badly.

OK Becky, let's think about something. Everyone targets white females.

For example, i was at the store the other day, and a white guy was just staring at my butt. I mean, i moved 2 isles, and he was still looking at my butt. Turns out, he was the manager. Now who can i tell..he's the freakin manager! so becky, I'm just telling you..i'm asain... and i was being targeted....AT TARGET!

I think maybe they (illegals) are bitter and angry towards whites so they see white women as a way back at them.

maybe this was just your friends experiences but this is uncommon especially if they only know Spanish (if they come illegally) how do you expect there to be communication

my question is....if they're attractive white females...then do they bother being romanced by mexican men? why don't they try some attractive men?

One, of course could ask... "why do your 'friends' date such people?" (It's not that they were forced at gunpoint "DATE THIS MAN!")
