i skipped a day on birth control and i didn't realize it till a couple days later.?

I got my period because of it too . I was just wonder if i should keep taking my birth control like normal or not.

p.s. I'm not having sex at this time so I'm not really worried about getting pregnant

    keep taking it as normal but obviously you will need to wait a few weeks again until it covers you pregnancy wise so use something else if you are going to have sex
