Yes, My wife was taken ill in Jersey and they phoned ahead and the plane was met with a wheelchair for her at Bristol, In your case you can arrange this through your travel agent or airline in advance.

Well I don't see why not. After all, this is the year 2011, and any large companies/organisations would be in SERIOUS TROUBLE from the government if they failed to look after the disabled.
