Don't think chucking families out of council houses is the right answer?

most of you are completely wrong. they should be kicked out of their council houses. they've destroyed half the country, murdered people & left innocent people homeless. why the hell would anyone in their right minds care if they now lose theirs. they had a choice to loot & murder, it was their own choice. these innocent people had no choice when they torched their homes regardless of anyone being trapped inside. yes, i,m sure if it happened to you you'd be saying 'please, don't evict them.

no human rights or do gooders can stop the council evicting this scum. it is in your council contract to abide by the rules when you become a tenant or you're out. this scum hasn't abided by those rules so are entitled to be kicked out. and to my absolute delight, i've just heard the the 1st council tenant is to be evicted from his council home. it has to go through court also, but they have started the eviction procedure. who said they cant or wont do it? i hope those trainers were worth losing your home for. they will now have to get a job & rent privately as the council will not re home anyone that has been evicted. as the council said, getting a council house is not an obligation, its a privilege. great news.

No it isn't. This government talks about growth in the UK and that would certainly help if it was in the jobs sector where a decent living wage would be paid. Cameron just jumped on the band wagon because someone else who had been upset by the riots said that bit about the council houses and a petition was started on the no. 10 web site. @Lorne gave you a pretty good answer.

Tell you what though. I think there are a lot of politicians and the elitist in our society who are scared. I see a lot of knee jerk reaction here and the police know they really don't have the answer and if it kicks off fully they don't have the no how or the willingness to stop it. Moron and Clutz, leaders of this coalition both helped to set the example our politicians gave these looters. Now that the looters are stealing just as they did in Parliament and are still doing except the politicians didn't use fire bombs all our so-called leaders are worried. Worried that their hog trough and gravy train may stop with a full scale bang. I hope not for the same reason I hope the politicians and elite don't carry on as they have been doing. I think families should be thrown put of council housing if they have been involved in the rioting and looting and all their benefits should be stopped and they be forced to work for a living.

Its tempting as there many peace loving people who need a council house right now but not sure its the right move but striping them of benefit and replacing with food tokens for a while might be a good idea.

Short answer really your kids do the damage and if caught you pay the bill wonder how many parents would discipline their kids if they were forced to pay for the damage their kids had done money speaks a language parents understand .

it isnt the right answer. it wont happen and cameron knows it wont. hes just saying that to get people to think about what they are doing. maybe it might scare parents into disciplining their kids.
