when JESUS returns scriptures say he will return in the clouds? . Literal CLOUDS then?.?

I have always thought the clouds were immense amounts of believers and angels.

Today, modern Christians understand how silly that whole idea is, and try to deny that Christianity ever believed that Heaven was an actual physical place up in the clouds... yet scripture clearly says it - in so many ways, such as when people look up to the sky when speaking to God. All the art throughout history has represented it that way, clearly showing that was the belief of the faithful forever. When we were able to travel intot he clouds and above the atmosphere, and prove there is no Heaven there, they had to change their teachings and pretend it was never meant that way. Just as when Christ did not return during the generation of the people h was speaking to, as he promised.

But the faithful take pride in their lack of reason.

Christians will always say this has a deeper meaning and that people who take this literally are people who can't use insight. Hate it when they do that.

They don't have airplanes, space shuttles back then. So they think that heaven is in the sky and hell is underneath the soil. That Simple. So Jesus really meant the literal clouds because he think man can't fly and know what's behind the clouds. That Simple.

Project Blue Beam will allow the christians to actually see this happen when they use lasers to project the image into the sky. Oh boy! What fun! I can hardly wait to see this.

Afterwards they'll do the same thing in the Middle East except it will be Mohamed.

Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Edit: Now, here's this verse. Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

1Thess. 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Edit: There's no better proof than Scripture. You must remember too that there is more than one rapture. Read 2Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

This is speaking of the taking away of the Man Child spoken of in Revelation 12. This is the secret coming where He comes as a thief in the night.

He will again come and rapture up the Church prior to the wrath of God. No Believer will experience this wrath. When this wrath comes it will be the Lord on a cloud that will throw in the sickle.

Revelation 13:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Nobody knows how He will return

If he told them that then they are the ones who will see and saw his second coming

And they did when Jesus rose from the dead and appeared to them

According to the 'bible', 'jesus' said he was going to return in the generation to which he was speaking. Evidently he missed the bus, and then they shut down the bus line.

Yes, at first, he will appear in the clouds.
