5'7 and 172 pound. Help!!!!?
After I got out of the hospital I had to go to a number of follow up appointments and my results for height and weight was 5'7 and 172. Is this normal for my height? What should I do to lose some of this weight? Thanks in advance for the help!

You are overweight at that weight. Ideally you should be around 130-140 pounds. That gets you well away from the overweight category but you aren't close to the underweight category. You can actually go to 119 pounds and be healthy. Your bmi would be 18.6 and underweight is under 18.5. 130 is a good median so you aren't too skinny but you aren't too close to being overweight as well.

Sit ups will help your stomach go flat! Also, drink LOTS of water if you don't already, because that also helps. Don't skip meals. If you skip a meal, your body will think you're starving it so it will store up fat from the next meal you eat. So don't skip meals, but eat a more healthy meal. And maybe just walking every day (you don't have to run) will do the charm. Good luck, and I know this will work for you!! :D

That isn't normal. I'm a boy 5'8 12 years old only like 120 pounds. Excerise, have fun with your friends outside. Don't eat too much meat, eat vegetables. Don't drink sugary soda/juice.
